A Multi-Medium Design Study
The design and creation of this VOID soda can was used to combine my skills in 3D modeling, graphic design, and 3D texturing into one project.
The design of the branding is meant to evoke a black hole. On the logo, you can see as the black hole shaped ‘O’ pulls in the edges of the other letters and distorts the grid background, twisting and pulling at it.
The dark purple color palette was chosen due to its close association with the black ‘void’ of space. With it, the flavor of grape was a natural choice.

As for the 3D design of the can itself, a base was made in Shapr3D, and cleaned up in Blender.
The materials for the cans were made in Blender, along with some UV texture work.
The implementation of the cans label and all its attached designs was done in Procreate.
