Unreal Engine 5 Cinematic

For my Visual Effects for Immersive Environments course at the Savannah College of Art & Design, I was tasked with making a cinematic sequence in Unreal Engine 5.

I took this as an opportunity to expand on multiple skillsets. Not only did I model and texture the modular “Abandoned Building” environment used in this project, but I also found this to be a great time to experiment with atmospheric lighting and cinematic camera movements.

The final piece can be seen below:

*Sound effects and music sourced from the SCAD Sound Department Library.

*Combine Grunt character model created by Valve Corporation for Half-Life: Alyx.

*Created in Unreal Engine 5, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
